"My name is John Riordan, and I am the proud proprietor of Media Postcards, a local business dedicated to serving our community. The inspiration for Media Postcards struck me during a recent trip to Wisconsin while visiting family. I stumbled upon large 9x12 postcards, which brought back memories of my early career.
When I was 25, I used similar postcards to advertise my carpet and furniture steam cleaning business, which became immensely successful. After just two ad spots, my booking schedules were filled up to six months in advance! However, being a seasonal business, I later switched to owning a pizzeria shop, Thanks to my Italian heritage and my mother's teachings, I was able to create delicious Italian pizzas. But I faced challenges with expensive advertisements.
Seeing those postcard ads in Wisconsin recently reminded me of their cost-effectiveness and direct reach. I realized I should have continued using them for my pizza business. This epiphany drove me to help local businesses increase their reach and success through direct mail advertising. And thus, Media Postcards was born to support our community's growth and prosperity."
